One of the reasons why I, like so many others, are attracted to literature and the art of writing, is because I see something more than scribble from ink pen on paper. The power to create your own world, agonizing over its imperfections and virtues, is a skill; one that can be developed and lost. But different than others, this skill is one born in something deeper and reaches out to touch those in a wholly unique and ardent way. The ALC Rabat Journalism Club provides the forum and formality
for you, as an English student, to communicate yourself, your ideas, your world in English. If you are interested in authoring a perfect English article, poem, interview, or literary work, join us. Sometimes the only way to change the world around us is to create one of our own.

Let me say that this is the exact same feeling I have everytime I hold my pen so I can write. Some people will think that the power of writing doesn’t exist in reality, but the truth is that this is reality for us, it’s our way to express our individuality and freedom. When I start writing I feel like the whole world revolves around me and with just a word I can make both logic and imagination come together in one single unit. It’s my passion and my secret ingredient to success that feed my spirit and soul everyday. Even if the entire world stand against you, your pen will always be there to cheer you up and wipe away your tears. this is why words are like magic; they propel us and empower us more than you can imagine. I haven’t learnt the right skills for a good writing yet, but I enjoy it very much and that’s enough for me now.
