Concert by two American Bands at the National Theater, January 27, 8:30pm












US Embassy Rabat, in partnership with Maroc cultures is pleased to announce this exciting program showcasing American and Moroccan musical culture which will be held on January 27, 2011 at the Théâtre National Mohammed V in Rabat. The show will feature a performance by the US Southern University Marching Band of Louisiana, joined by the incredibly talented deaf and mute percussion band of NASR Association. In a country with such a rich tradition of percussion music, we hope that these two groups of young musicians will find an enthousiastic audience.

Please note that this is a charitable concert and that all proceeds will be donated to l’Association NASR. Tickets are available directly from Mohammed V Theater at a cost of 50Dhs.

C’est avec grand plaisir que l’Ambassade des Etats-Unis à Rabat, en collaboration avec Maroc Cultures, présente ce programme passionnant de culture musicale américaine et marocaine, qui aura lieu le 27 janvier, au Théâtre National Mohammed V à Rabat. Les membres de la primée Southern University fanfare, provenant de l’Etat de la Louisiane, offrira une performance spéciale avec l’ensemble de percussions incroyablement talentueux de l’Association NASR des Sourds-muets. Dans ce pays qui est si riche en la tradition des percussions, nous espérons que ces deux groupes de jeunes musiciens trouvent un public enthousiaste.

Veuillez noter qu’il s’agit d’un événement caritatif pour l’Association NASR et que les billets, disponibles au Théâtre Mohammed V, coûtent 50 Dh.
