Malika Rafiq, an instructor at the American Language Center, Rabat, is an avid runner. She competes regularly in running events and is one of the fastest women in Morocco in her category, to be sure! The following pictures were taken in Marrakesh and Rabat.  The Marrakesh event was a full marathon, a distance of 42 kilometers. Malika ran this in a time of in 3 hours 40 minutes on January 29, 2011. The next was the Rabat half marathon. Malika ran this race, a distance of 21 kilometers, in 1 hour 33 minutes on April 3, 2011. Congratulations, Malika!

  1. First of all, this professor gives lectures at Mohamed V university of letters. Secondly, I can’t believe it! I’ve received this news as a Gorgan’s gaze. I wish her success, as I wish her to take more care of her students at Mohamed V university of letters.

    • ;;;;and I wish you d grow up and raise your thinking and as a matter of fact your English without the a teacher taking by hand, if your smart and had sth in your brains, you woudn t end up at a public university, you d be in some foreign univerity like Harvard!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      you re a loser!!!!!

  2. Dr. Rafiq: Congratulations on your success and an athlete and professor. It’s been quite a few years since we met at the University of Minnesota, and my visit to Rabat. I find it quite interesting that you coordinate the space camp program. My son is not executive assistant to the NASA administrator.

I would love to hear from you, in order to discuss a trip my son and I are planning to Morocco.

    All the best
